“SOUNDWAVE”

THE WALTHAM FOREST TALKING NEWSPAPER

Charity Concert 12th December 2006 The Plough Inn, Wood St E17

The Waltham Forest Talking Newspaper Association is a registered Charity and is staffed entirely by volunteers. It is self funded by donations and fund raising and provides a totally free service for anyone who has a visual handicap, or cannot read the local Guardian for any other reason.

“SOUNDWAVE” is recorded weekly on 60 minute cassettes, of the type used on domestic cassette recorders and after duplication is sent by “Free Post” to anyone who would like to hear the local news in the Borough of Waltham Forest.

Each tape is put in an easy-open pouch with a reversible label and delivered by Free Post. Once listened to, put the cassette back into the pouch, turn the label over and pop it back into the post.

If you have a comment, record it on the tape and put a piece of paper in the pouch to let us know.

To receive your copy of the Local Guardian on cassette each week, please contact us. We only need your name, address and date of birth, no one will call on you.

Please  telephone :  07811 245695
